Meet the Coaches

We are Kris and Anne Harrison. We met while working in the theatre at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Since then, God has taken us on a wild journey of ministry and family. We’ve served churches in three states, we’ve moved twenty times, and we’re blessed with seven children, including some adopted children and some children with special needs. Along the way, God has taught us so many lessons. We would love to pass on some of that learning to you, and even learn some more lessons from you. We’re happy to show you pictures of our grandson, you don’t even have to ask.

Our Approach

As coaches, we are humble guides. We want to listen well so that we can empower and equip you to shine in your own ministry context. What you will get from us is inspiration, curiosity, a level-headed approach to the challenges you face, and two people who are in your camp, cheering you on to thrive in the roles God has for you.

Kris Harrison

Kris is a sixth-generation Texan who currently lives in Oregon. He graduated from Baylor University and later earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Acting & Directing at Texas Tech University. After working in the theatre, he had a career as a teacher at the high school and college levels. Kris then entered full-time ministry, earning a Master of Theology (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Kris has been privileged to serve in ministry in a variety of roles, at small church plants, multi-site megachurches, and medium-sized churches. His work as an Executive Pastor has given Kris a passion for helping pastors and church leaders be more effective at healthy culture, efficient systems, and gospel impact. When you work with Kris, you’ll find him to be a person who is loyal, encouraging, fun, genuine, and optimistic.

Kris loves the Dallas Cowboys (most of the time), enjoys nurturing his bonsai trees, and is constantly in pursuit of excellent coffee.

Anne Harrison

Born an Army Brat, Anne has lived all over the USA. She is a certified Giftedness Center coach, a pastor's wife for almost 15 years, and a mother to 7 children. Anne holds a Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and a Master’s in Leadership with an emphasis in nonprofit leadership from the Bushnell University School of Business.

Anne has a passion for mentoring others. She loves being present with people when the light bulb comes on and they realize why they do what they do best. She desires to see people live into their purpose and gifting, and can lose track of time when it comes to seeing people thrive. Helping others is a natural part of her gifting.

Anne loves cooking and reading cookbooks. She is a novice gardener and loves working with clay. She loves God’s word and how it applies to our lives today.
